A Discussion About The Israeli-Palestine Conflict - Tensions are high in Jerusalem following the kidnapping and killing of three Israeli teenagers in the West Bank last month and the grisly killing of a Palestinian teenager in Jerusalem last week. People on both sides of the conflict are calling for both peace while others are calling for more violence. The Palestinian teenager who was killed last week has family throughout Northern California, including his cousin Wadha Abukhdeir, who lives in Davis. She joins us in wake of the tit-for-tat violence with David Mandel, a member of the Jewish Voice for Peace. We're also speaking with George Bisharat, a professor at UC Hastings Law who focuses on the Middle East, about continuing clashes in Gaza and the West Bank.
News Network - This week on News Network, we'll speak with the woman behind YubaNet.com, a website that hosts comprehensive data on fires in California as well as local news updates. Jim Smith, editor of the Woodland Daily Democrat, also joins us to discuss the Monticello fire and the 4th of July in Woodland.
Ideateam - Ideateam is a Sacramento-based 9-piece funk band that will performing at Dive Bar Wednesday night as part of their summer block party concert series. Today, the four members of the rhythm section join us to discuss their debut album, which was completely self-produced.
